How to transfer files from PC to iPod, iPod to PC/iTunes, iPod to iPod

Part one: Add files to iPod
This iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer helps you to add audio and video files from your PC to your iPod/iPhone, such as music and movie.
1. Run the software, and connect your iPod/iPhone to your computer via USB cable. After done, the iPod/iPhone icon and its library and playlists will appear in the Device list.
2. Open the library/playlist that you want to add files into.
3. Click the Add files button, and choose the Add Files to List option that the button shows, and then locate the required files to your iPod/iPhone.
Tip: If you want to add a folder containing all files you want, please click the Add files drop-down button, and choose the Add Folder to List option, and then locate the folder to your iPod/iPhone.

Part two: Backup checked files to local
This iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer helps you to export files from your iPod/iPhone to local, such as music, movies, TV shows, and podcasts, and more.
1. Run the software, and connect your iPod/iPhone to your computer via USB cable. After done, the iPod/iPhone icon and its library and playlists will appear in the Device list.
2. Open the library/playlist that you want to export files, and then check the file(s) you want to export in the file list.
3. Click the Backup to local button to start exporting files.

Part three: Add checked files to iTunes library
This iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer helps you to export files from your iPod/iPhone to your iTunes library, such as music, movies, TV shows, and podcasts, and more.
1. Run the software, and connect your iPod/iPhone to your computer via USB cable. After done, the iPod/iPhone icon and its library and playlists will appear in the Device list.
2. Open the library/playlist that you want to export files, and then check the file(s) you want to export in the file list.
3. Click the Add to iTunes button to start exporting files.

Part four: Transfer between iPods or iPhone
You can also transfer files between your different devices.
1. Run the software, and connect your iPods (but only one iPhone) to your computer. Then open a library/playlist from one of the devices.
2. Find the songs/videos you want to transfer in the library/playlist and drag them to the target iPod/iPhone.
Part five: More usage skills
A: Creating a playlist
Depending on the type of your iPod/iPhone, you may also be able to create playlists on your iPod/iPhone to compile your songs and video.
1. Run the software, and connect your iPod/iPhone to your computer via USB cable.
2. When the iPod/iPhone icon appears in the AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer window, select a playlist below the iPod/iPhone icon. And then choose the New Playlist button to create an untitled playlist. This will appear at the bottom of the list of playlists below the selected iPod/iPhone icon.

3. Enter a name for your playlist. A short and descriptive name will help you organize your music and video on your iPod/iPhone.
4. Add audio or video files to your new playlist.
B: Add cover to a song
In the thumb view mode, drag an image from your computer to the song listed in the program, and then release the mouse when the song is highlighted. The image would be added as the song's cover.
C: Dragging files to import
You can also import files to your iPod/iPhone by dragging.
1. Run the software, and connect your iPod/iPhone to your computer. Then open a library/playlist from your iPod/iPhone.
2. Drag the files you want to import into the AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer window.
D: Dragging files to export
You can also export files to the actual device by dragging files.
1. Run the software, and connect your iPod/iPhone to your computer. Then open a library/playlist from your iPod/iPhone.
2. Find the files you want to export in the library/playlist and drag them to the target location on your PC.
E: Ejecting your iPod/iPhone
To eject iPod/iPhone by one of the following methods:
Method 1: Right click on your iPod/iPhone icon in the Device list, and then choose the Eject option from the right-click menu.
Method 2: Click Eject button on the right of Device list, and choose the iPod/iPhone you want to eject from the submenu.
Notes:
1. When the software is started, it will modify the automatic synchronization of music/video to manual synchronization between iPod and iTunes.
2. Please make sure that your iTunes is closed when you use AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer.
3. There are some tips to be mentioned for the connection of iPhone.
a. Only in Windows XP/Vista, or above version, AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer is applicable.
b. iTunes 7.3, or above version, is necessary for running AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer.
c. AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer could only support one iPhone in each connection.
